ReMind
We are excited to announce the development of ReMind, a new course designed for school and community-based organizations to address the growing impact of cannabis use on youth.
About the ReMind Course
Building upon the success of our existing ReFresh program, ReMind offers a comprehensive, evidence-based intervention for youth cannabis use.
Key Features of ReMind:
- Focus on Mental Health: Addressing the immediate and long-term adverse impacts of cannabis use. This includes how high-potency THC directly exacerbates anxiety, depression, and paranoia—issues especially prevalent among adolescents.
- Comprehensive Mind/Body Impacts: The curriculum details the physiological toll of cannabis, exploring its effects on the heart, brain, lungs, and stomach. Participants will learn about the severe risks of "greening out" (physical overdose), understand how withdrawal feels, and recognize the importance of seeking medical support.
- Actionable Cognitive Behavioral Techniques (CBT): The course integrates effective CBT techniques from our ReFresh program to equip youth with practical skills. The "If/Then" planning technique, introduces a direct, actionable way for participants to anticipate and manage cravings and high-risk situations.
- Expanded Circle of Care: Recognizing that highly concentrated THC products (like dabs and edibles) can lead to more difficult and intense withdrawal symptoms, ReMind broadens the support network including doctors, specialized addiction professionals, and mental health experts, ensuring that quitting and managing withdrawal is safe and effective.
We Need Your Expertise: Join the ReMind Pilot & Discussion Panel
Your insight is crucial to ensuring ReMind is practical and impactful in real-world educational and community settings. We invite your organization to participate in one of two ways:
1. Join Our December Panel Discussion
Help us shape the program by discussing the current state of youth cannabis use in your organization. We are gathering school administrators and community leaders for a brief virtual panel discussion in December.
2. Pilot the ReMind Program (Spring 2026)
Be among the first to implement this new course. Pilot sites will receive training and materials to run ReMind with a select group of students starting in the Spring of 2026.
If you are interested in participating in the Panel Discussion or the Pilot, please complete the interest form below.
